Burcon Construction Limited was founded on July 14th, 1983 by Cays Buren. His son Rick, then 18, joined him and together they built and renovated numerous retail and residential spaces. After Cays retired in 2001, Rick and his wife Liisa purchased the business and expanded into other commercial and residential niches, such as Dental Clinics and Luxury Residential Kitchens. They participated in many youth and immigrant employment programs; assisted employees in obtaining their Carpenter’s Apprenticeship, and have supported many local charities.

Liam Buren's journey with Burcon began at the age of 14, although his involvement in the family business dates back even further. Growing up, he assisted his father, Rick, with renovation projects around the house and in the shop. Now, 12 years later, Burcon Construction proudly welcomes Liam as the next generation to lead the family business. His dedication and fresh perspective ensure that Burcon's quality remains consistent and forward-thinking. Liam's exceptional business and construction skills are a result of the guidance instilled in him by his parents. 

In addition to offering all aspects of residential renovations Burcon has specialized in for 4 decades, Liam will be embarking on an exciting new chapter by adding efficient Income Generating Home Suites to his portfolio.
